+1. It makes me think the waterworks is a bit premature. Unless, of course, you were hoping that Summer’s shot would take out Tarragon, and possibly create and/or uncreate Sister X….
How far off the ground were they? Cats have been known to fall 10+ stories without injury. Humans have been known to shatter most of their bones from as little as a couple of feet.
Terminal velocity for a cat would be much lower for a cat because of far less body mass. I think terminal velocity for a human is about 160 MPH. So, as a guess, I would say for a cat, about 30 MPH. The cube/square principal is involved.
Which would be a damn good reason for the cat to change back to small form even if it could’ve stayed larger
Cats slow down further by spreading out, all most parachute like.
Cats have been known to get severe injuries from falls of three stories or less. I forget at which point their perfect falling posture makes them immune to damage again.
Rusche likely studied cats extensively during the Kitten Debacle of 2014.
“Grrl Genius”, I take it, as a fusion of “Girl Genius” and “Grrl Power”?
Well, one’s a story of a brilliant, but slightly off, young woman thrust into super-being-dom in a world where pretty much anything goes and everyone’s out to kill her.

That’s a surprisingly serene expression in the second panel.
Reminded me of the scene where Spike falls out of the cathedral window in ballad of fallen angels
Well, there went my decent day……
Wait, you mean that it might just actually be a single day without “Back to the Future”?
Just noticed Zenobia has a “galaxy is on orion’s belt” type collar
Also safe to assume kitteh saved the day?
All I’m thinking is THAT’S A NORMAL-LOOKING CAT!
I have to point this out – Zenobia’s pose is accurate. That’s what a cat looks like as it rotates in mid-air to land on its feet. Nice touch, Rusche.

Awwww, the kitty was in the mech? Hope kitteh is okay, even if it’s an evil kitteh.
Kittehs are the Nietzschean superhumans, beyond “good” and “evil” ^_^
Type F to pay respects for Take A Bullet Kitteh Bot.
aka Schrodinger’s Mech
Soooo.. we have to type F & NF then?
My first reaction was “That’s not TAKE A BULLET BOT!!!”

Now I can’t help but wonder what type of comic “Grrl Genius” would be. Soooo many different directions to take that particular fusion.
Steampunk weird science. No, weirder. But, funny.
Well… they don’t have a Minuteman missile rising up through the kitchen through to the roof.
Something makes me think of that hick family in The Simpsons.
Well, being drawn by Phil Foglio, it could have gone either way. Since he’s also the artist for XXXenophile.
Very highly recommended.

The other… is all that, but steampunk.

Ack, Tarra is so cute I can’t stand it.
Are we up to the super dope(eee)y part, Tarra? Inconclusive whether super stiff pose Tarra from the last page was a switcheroo mannequin.
Summer’s revenge, part 2: to tip off a rival police force that has had it in for her for quite some time now:
‘Going over the posted speed limit, destruction of a firetruck, the road it was on and part of the building you flew off of. Witnesses claim large blasts and Missiles of all things, not to Mention the damages to innocent bystanders. Do you have anything to say in your defense?’
‘Summer caused that!’
‘Who? There was no one else where you landed, Or on the destroyed roof when you made that crater. We also have evidence of you holding someone hostage in your apartment and I quote ‘with only four minutes of oxygen remaining.”
Now you got me thinking of turf wars between Police departments. It is Florida, after all.
Enter Tarra’s forgotten ‘date’, who had time to be kitted up by the apartment AI while the monolog was occurring?
I got to thinking, if Sister X is future Tarra, then can’t they stop Sister X from happening?
We have all wondered this. After all, Tarra knew that Tarraforming causes cancer, so theoretically, she’d stop using it and thus keep her chest firmly in place.
Yet if Tarra alters Sister X, then Sister X no longer travels through time to try and kill the median, so Tarra doesn’t find out that Tarraforming causes cancer and stops using it.
Every day, it’s Back to the Future here.
I really like the way Dr. McNinja handled that one, and the associated hassles.
However, as one of my favorite YouTube channels puts it, Chaos theory is a b****.
Dang it, Multiverse theory. The heel did that typo happen?
You probably left it where you were hiding for the past few months, eh?
Well, I like Tarra, so here’s hoping :)
I’m confused. Do you update Tuesdays and Fridays, or only once a week on either Tuesday or Friday?
The answer to your question is “yes.”
Maybe?
We’re trying?
Would I be out of order for suggesting, “What is six times seven?”
…oh well, whatever, never mind.
I also always thought it was, “What do you get if you multiply six by nine?”
If only Summer had invoked “Brobdingnagian Buntline!,” she could have *seen* the parallax problem.
